Quickstart
Empty machine to skills in sync, in four commands. Node 22 required.
1Install the CLI
npm i -g hubskillz
2Sign in with a device token
hubskillz login
3Compare what is installed with the directory
hubskillz status
4Upload every skill of your machine to your directory
hubskillz sync
Add a skill to claude.ai
- Open the skill in Hubskillz and export it as a ZIP.
- In claude.ai, open Customize, then Skills, and upload the ZIP.
- To update, delete the old skill in claude.ai, then upload the new ZIP.
Hubskillz records each export as “exported v3 on August 26”, so you know which version each account has.
Device tokens
Create a token in Settings, Device tokens. It is shown once: paste it when the CLI asks. Revoke it from the same page at any time.
export HUBSKILLZ_TOKEN=hsk_... hubskillz sync --yes
In CI or a container, set HUBSKILLZ_TOKEN instead of signing in.
